Po­lice were on the scene of a shoot­ing in the cap­i­tal city this morn­ing.

Ac­cord­ing to re­ports, a man was shot be­tween Park and Pic­cadil­ly Streets this morn­ing.

He has since been tak­en to the Port of Spain Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal.

When the Guardian Me­dia team ar­rived, a num­ber of on-look­ers sur­round­ed the scene and crime scene in­ves­ti­ga­tors were gath­er­ing ev­i­dence.

Pic­tures show more than 10 spent shells were dis­cov­ered.
