Former Minister of Works and Transport, Rohan Sinanan, has thanked the staff at the Ministry of Works and Transport for their support over the course of his nine years at the ministry.

In a statement, he said, "Over the past nine years, I have been honoured to lead a Ministry committed to improving lives in communities across the country through modern, resilient, and inclusive transportation and physical infrastructure. Guided by your feedback and grounded in service to all communities, the Ministry of Works and Transport delivered thousands of projects, each rooted in a shared vision of national development."

He said he hopes the new administration will continue to "advance a people-centred agenda that uplifts every citizen."

He added, "Let us move forward as one nation, always guided by our love for country and our civic duty to each other."
