A 33-year-old St Ann’s man was killed as he walked towards his home yesterday morning after buying doubles.
Police said Nickel Morris left his house and went out to purchase doubles and a soft drink. He drove back to his St Ann’s Road home around 8.02 am.

Morris died on the spot.
Officers from the Port-of-Spain Task Force were on patrol in the area and were called in.
Several spent 9 mm shells were also found at the scene.
