Po­lice in­ves­ti­ga­tors are ask­ing for any as­sis­tance from the mem­bers of the pub­lic that would lead to the ar­rest of the peo­ple re­spon­si­ble for the break-in and lar­ce­ny at Dai­ly Es­sen­tials Su­per­mar­ket and Phar­ma­cy in Chase Vil­lage, Ch­agua­nas, which oc­curred on Sat­ur­day morn­ing.

Guardian Me­dia was told that at about 1:50 am on Sat­ur­day April 2nd, an uniden­ti­fied man re­port­ed­ly pried open a bur­glar-proofed gate and then smashed the glass door of the es­tab­lish­ment, which is lo­cat­ed down­stairs a res­i­den­tial/com­mer­cial build­ing near In­no­va­tion Dri­ve.

Ac­cord­ing to CCTV footage cap­tured in­side the store, the lone thief was seen steal­ing cash, al­co­holic bev­er­ages, cig­a­rettes, con­doms, and bat­ter­ies.

He then es­caped in one of two wait­ing cars—a sil­ver Ti­i­da and a blue wag­on.

Po­lice said the val­ue of the stolen goods is yet to be as­cer­tained but be­lieve that it is in ex­cess of $20,000.
