Min­is­ter of Fi­nance Colm Im­bert has ex­tend­ed the tax amnesty to Oc­to­ber 15, 2021.

The an­nounce­ment was made yes­ter­day via a press re­lease.

Ac­cord­ing to the re­lease, the ex­ten­sion was grant­ed to give tax­pay­ers a fi­nal op­por­tu­ni­ty to get their fi­nan­cial records in or­der and to file their tax re­turns.

It should be not­ed that there will be no fur­ther ex­ten­sion of the 2021 Amnesty af­ter Oc­to­ber 15, the re­lease stat­ed.
