Minister of Homeland Security Roger Alexander has issued preventive detention orders for three more alleged gang members.
Detention orders were issued for Terrell “Relly” Griffith, of Upper Pioneer Drive, Petit Valley; Wayne Havelock, of 27 St Margaret’s Village, Claxton Bay; and Jeremy “Scrapes” Dillon, of Morne Coco Road, Petit Valley. The orders were gazetted yesterday.
Under the Emergency Powers Regulations, 2025, the three men have been ordered detained to prevent them from acting in a manner prejudicial to public safety.
They are to be held at the Eastern Correctional Rehabilitation Centre in Santa Rosa, Arima, or at other locations as directed by the minister.
Authorities said Griffith and Dillon have been credibly identified as members of the Valley Monsters, an organised crime group linked to larger gangs, including the Richplain Gang and the 9 Gang. They serve as stash men and shooters. Their gang reportedly possesses high-powered firearms and is involved in murders, armed robberies, narcotics, and firearms trafficking.
Griffith and Dillon are alleged to be conspiring to commit imminent murders of individuals they believe provided adverse information to their gang, as well as other armed robberies and reprisal shootings in public areas.
Havelock has been identified as the leader of a gang operating in Claxton Bay, connected to the “SIXX” OCG. His group reportedly has access to high-powered firearms and is responsible for murders, narcotics, and firearms trafficking. Havelock and others are alleged to be planning imminent murders of police officers in retaliation for a recent narcotics seizure, along with reprisal shootings targeting rival gang members and members of the police service in public areas.
The orders were deemed necessary to disrupt the men’s alleged plans and protect public safety. All three orders were made on September 25, 2025.
