Scores of angry motorists lined up at NP's Roxborough Gas Station this morning demanding answers and compensation following the sale of contaminated fuel to a motorist on Friday evening.
In a release, NP said the company was aware that fuel contamination occurred at the Roxborough Service Station at approximately 6 pm. NP said the contamination was contained and sales at the station had stopped.
When Guardian Media visited the facility around 9 am, disgruntled vehicle owners were on site demanding answers. A tanker truck was on the scene pumping the underground tanks and wreckers were taking stalled vehicles out of the station. Around 10 am Gerard Gift, the manager for NP's Tobago Operations, spoke with motorist. However, they were not satisfied with his response.
