The Min­istry of Trans­port and Civ­il Avi­a­tion has launched a hot­line for the pub­lic to re­port un­safe dri­ving by maxi taxis along the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route.

Com­muters can call (868) 625-1225, ex­ten­sions 10010, 10011, and 10012, to re­port in­ci­dents such as speed­ing, dan­ger­ous over­tak­ing, and oth­er breach­es that threat­en pas­sen­ger and road safe­ty.

Of­fi­cials are ask­ing callers to pro­vide key de­tails, in­clud­ing the ve­hi­cle reg­is­tra­tion num­ber, route, lo­ca­tion, and time of the in­ci­dent, to as­sist with fol­low-up ac­tion.

The hot­line comes as con­cerns per­sist over risky dri­ving prac­tices on the Pri­or­i­ty Bus Route, a crit­i­cal cor­ri­dor for dai­ly com­muters. Au­thor­i­ties say the re­ports will sup­port mon­i­tor­ing ef­forts and help hold op­er­a­tors ac­count­able.

The Min­istry urged road users to act re­spon­si­bly and com­ply with traf­fic laws.
