The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has launched a hotline for the public to report unsafe driving by maxi taxis along the Priority Bus Route.
Commuters can call (868) 625-1225, extensions 10010, 10011, and 10012, to report incidents such as speeding, dangerous overtaking, and other breaches that threaten passenger and road safety.
Officials are asking callers to provide key details, including the vehicle registration number, route, location, and time of the incident, to assist with follow-up action.
The hotline comes as concerns persist over risky driving practices on the Priority Bus Route, a critical corridor for daily commuters. Authorities say the reports will support monitoring efforts and help hold operators accountable.
The Ministry urged road users to act responsibly and comply with traffic laws.
