TTARP–an as­so­ci­a­tion of re­spon­si­ble per­sons with a mem­ber­ship of over 40,000 who are age 50 and over con­tin­ue to look af­ter the needs of its mem­bers whilst seek­ing new mem­bers and new part­ner­ships.

With 30 years of ex­pe­ri­ence in so­cial work, and re­ceiv­ing a Na­tion­al Award in the form of the Hum­ming­bird Medal Gold for Na­tion­al Ser­vice in 2019, the growth and achieve­ments are out­stand­ing as an NGO (non-gov­ern­men­tal or­gan­i­sa­tion).

At the helm, is the pres­i­dent, Pe­ter Peña with his ded­i­cat­ed ex­ec­u­tive board mem­bers who have as­sist­ed in nav­i­gat­ing dur­ing calm and dif­fi­cult times.

Eleven zon­al groups spread through­out the twin isles pro­vide ac­tiv­i­ties for mem­bers with­in the com­mu­ni­ty which aim to im­prove the qual­i­ty of their lives/pro­mote their in­de­pen­dence, dig­ni­ty and pur­pose/lead in de­ter­min­ing their role in so­ci­ety/and im­prove the im­age of the Gold­en Years.

As a mem­ber of this as­so­ci­a­tion, one can ben­e­fit from sav­ings in 62 cat­e­gories of busi­ness from over 400 mer­chants/as­sist­ing and ad­vo­cat­ing for the el­der­ly/pro­vid­ing vol­un­tary ser­vices and pos­si­ble work op­por­tu­ni­ties/ sub­scrip­tion to TTARP’s O50Q Mag­a­zine and most re­cent­ly the launch of a new and im­proved med­ical care pro­gramme with Health­Net Caribbean Lim­it­ed.

TTARP’s pres­i­dent Peña has point­ed out that “all our re­sults and fu­ture prospects sig­nal now more than ever be­fore, that age 50 is more than just achiev­ing a mile­stone–it’s em­brac­ing a whole new world!  A world in which we con­stant­ly strive to fur­ther en­hance the lives of those who have con­tributed in their own ways to our na­tion­al de­vel­op­ment and who de­serve recog­ni­tion, re­spect and car­ing at­ten­tion.”
