The Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) says the national grid remains stable despite two recent voltage dips that affected parts of the country.
In a statement, the utility said the momentary fluctuations occurred on July 25 around 7 p.m. and again on July 28 around 2 p.m. Both incidents were traced to separate faults along the 132 kV transmission circuits between Brechin Castle and Point Lisas.
T&TEC said protective systems kicked in as expected, limiting the disruption and preventing wider outages. The faults were addressed by technical crews shortly after.
The Commission said it continues to monitor the grid closely and apologised for any inconvenience caused.
