Po­lice have ar­rest­ed two men, seized sev­er­al stash­es of mar­i­jua­na, and re­cov­ered two stolen ve­hi­cles dur­ing ex­er­cis­es con­duct­ed across var­i­ous di­vi­sions over the past 24 hours. Be­tween noon and 6pm on Sun­day, of­fi­cers from the North East­ern Di­vi­sion car­ried out an ex­er­cise in the San Juan dis­trict. Dur­ing this op­er­a­tion, a search war­rant was ex­e­cut­ed for firearms and am­mu­ni­tion at the res­i­dence of a Bushe Street, San Juan, res­i­dent.

The of­fi­cers ar­rest­ed a 24-year-old man for pos­ses­sion of mar­i­jua­na af­ter they seized 498 grammes of mar­i­jua­na at the res­i­dence.

The of­fi­cers then pro­ceed­ed to Sec­ond Street, San Juan, where they searched an emp­ty lot and dis­cov­ered 500 grams of mar­i­jua­na.

Ad­di­tion­al­ly, the team vis­it­ed an ad­dress on Sad­dle Road, San Juan, with­in the com­pound of a su­per­mar­ket, where they found a sil­ver Toy­ota Field­er Wag­on. This ve­hi­cle had been tak­en at gun­point from its own­er the pre­vi­ous day.

On the same day, in the To­ba­go Di­vi­sion, an ex­er­cise was con­duct­ed be­tween 2:05 pm and 8:45 pm in the Mt. St George and Good Wood ar­eas. While search­ing a forest­ed area, of­fi­cers dis­cov­ered a sil­ver Nis­san Ti­i­da, re­port­ed stolen in Rox­bor­ough and be­lieved to be linked to a re­cent homi­cide. The ve­hi­cle was seized and tak­en to the Scar­bor­ough Po­lice Sta­tion.
