Two men have ap­peared be­fore an Ari­ma Mag­is­trate, charged with the mur­der of Clin­ton Changa, which oc­curred on Sep­tem­ber 14.

Mar­lon Dick, 34, and Kel­lon Agard, 23, both of Arou­ca, were charged with the of­fence when they ap­peared in the Ari­ma Mag­is­trates’ Court, on Sep­tem­ber 26.

The mat­ter was ad­journed to Oc­to­ber 24th, 2023.

Changa, aka ‘Chucky’, 29, of Arou­ca, was at a bar in the dis­trict on Sep­tem­ber 14, when he got in­to an al­ter­ca­tion with oth­er pa­trons. Dur­ing the in­ci­dent, he was al­leged­ly struck by a mo­tor ve­hi­cle, at­tacked by pa­trons and dealt sev­er­al stab wounds about

his body. The vic­tim was pro­nounced dead on ar­rival at hos­pi­tal.

An in­ves­ti­ga­tion in­to the mat­ter re­sult­ed in the ar­rest of two sus­pects by of­fi­cers of the Homi­cide Bu­reau of In­ves­ti­ga­tions (HBI)

Re­gion Two and the Arou­ca Po­lice Sta­tion, on Sep­tem­ber 16 and Sep­tem­ber 18, re­spec­tive­ly.

Dick and Agard, were charged with the of­fence by PC Mc Queen, al­so of HBI Re­gion Two, on Sun­day 24th Sep­tem­ber, 2023, fol­low­ing ad­vice re­ceived from Di­rec­tor of Pub­lic Pros­e­cu­tions, Roger Gas­pard SC, on Sep­tem­ber 22
