Ke­jan Haynes

A 46-year-old man from Ja­cob Hill, Ari­ma died this morn­ing in an ac­ci­dent close to his home this morn­ing.

The vic­tim has been iden­ti­fied as Al­lan Steele. 

Po­lice say around 6:45 Steele was with two oth­er pas­sen­gers in a car head­ing east along the Churchill Roo­sevelt High­way near Ja­cob Hill when the dri­ver lost con­trol and slammed in­to a tree. Ini­tial po­lice re­ports have not iden­ti­fied who was dri­ving. 

Steele died at the scene.

The two oth­er pas­sen­gers were tak­en to the Ari­ma Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal where po­lice say one of the vic­tims suc­cumbed to his in­juries and the oth­er oc­cu­pant is in crit­i­cal con­di­tion. Po­lice have not iden­ti­fied which of the oth­er pas­sen­gers died.
