In­ves­ti­ga­tions are con­tin­u­ing in­to the mur­der of a 43-year-old man from Va­len­cia.

He was iden­ti­fied as In­dar Boris of Riv­er Road Plan­ta­tion Road, Va­len­cia.

Ac­cord­ing to a po­lice re­port at about 8:55 am on Fri­day po­lice act­ing on in­for­ma­tion found Boris’ body at Riv­er Road, Plan­ta­tion Road, Va­len­cia.

Boris had gun­shot wounds to the chest and left side of the head.

Two rounds of spent 9 mm am­mu­ni­tion were al­so re­cov­ered at the scene in the area of the body.

In an un­re­lat­ed in­ci­dent yes­ter­day, Mark Quashie was shot dur­ing a ver­bal con­fronta­tion with a man along Eleanor Street lo­cat­ed be­hind the Ch­agua­nas Mar­ket.

Quashie was tak­en to the near­by Ch­agua­nas Dis­trict Health Fa­cil­i­ty where he sub­se­quent­ly died.
