Two teenagers are expected to appear before the Port-of-Spain Children’s Court today, charged with the murder of Keenan Smith, which occurred on January 2, 2019.
The two male minors were charged with murder on Thursday by Sgt. Sydney Job of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations, following advice received from Director of Public Prosecutions, Roger Gaspard SC.
Smith, 23, of Curepe, was stabbed about the body with a knife at a house in the district around 9.30 pm after getting into an altercation with two other persons.
He died at the scene.
The accused were arrested by officers of the St Joseph Police Station shortly after in connection with the incident.
