Port of Spain po­lice are prob­ing an in­ci­dent where the uni­forms of two po­lice of­fi­cers were re­port­ed stolen from their lock­er rooms last week.

In the first in­ci­dent on Tues­day morn­ing, the of­fi­cer who is as­signed to the Guard and Emer­gency Branch (GEB), La Fan­ta­sia Road, St Anns, re­port­ed that he se­cured a pair of dig­i­tal blue cam­ou­flage pants and his dig­i­tal blue cam­ou­flage jack­et in his lock­er and left for the day.

The of­fi­cer re­turned on Fri­day and no­ticed the lock on his lock­er bro­ken and the uni­form miss­ing.

On Wednes­day an­oth­er of­fi­cer re­port­ed pack­ing away a dig­i­tal blue cam­ou­flage jack­et, and two dig­i­tal blue cam­ou­flage caps and left for the day.

He al­so re­turned on Fri­day morn­ing and no­ticed the lock to his lock­er on the floor and the uni­form miss­ing.

Bel­mont Po­lice and of­fi­cers of the Port of Spain Crime Scene In­ves­ti­ga­tion (CSI) Unit vis­it­ed the scene and are con­tin­u­ing en­quiries.
