Late night beach limers were left in shock on Sunday after a gun attack left a Central man dead and three others injured at the popular Maracas Bay.
Police said initial reports stated that at about 9.45 pm, gunmen opened fire on a group of men who were liming near the gas station located just a stone's throw away from the Maracas Police Station.
Police said a man identified as Kiedon Williams, of Crown Trace, Enterprise, Chaguanas, was hit several times and died on the scene while three other men were wounded.
Police said Williams was a known member of the Unruly Isis gang which is based in Chaguanas.
Police are currently still on the scene.
Williams was one of five people killed over the weekend.
Earlier on Sunday, Simmon Mitchell, a 60-year-old man who was crippled by a stroke and David Joseph, 20, were also murdered in separate incidents, while security guard Roger Borriel and Terry Ellie were killed on Saturday, also in separate incidents.
The latest killing has taken the murder toll to 145, according to a police count.
