UWI-ROYTEC launched the third instalment of its Pathway to Success 2025 programme on July 14 at its Henry Street Campus in Port-of-Spain. The initiative is part of UWI-ROYTEC’s Corporate Social Responsibility efforts focused on education and community outreach.
The programme targets Secondary School students from across Trinidad and Tobago who are awaiting CSEC and CAPE results. Sessions are scheduled to take place at UWI-ROYTEC’s North Campus on Henry Street and its South Campus at Naparima College in San Fernando.
For the first time since its inception, the programme includes participation from students based in Tobago. Nine Secondary School students from the sister isle are among those selected for this year’s intake.
A cohort of 45 students will participate each week from July 14 to August 8. Students will explore career options in Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources and Entrepreneurship.
Participants are expected to engage in sessions that include presentations, workshops, and interactions with professionals from various industries. These sessions are designed to guide students in planning their academic and professional futures.
UWI-ROYTEC officials indicated that the programme continues to grow in national reach and aims to impact the personal development of students through exposure to professional experiences.
