WASA to fix defective pump at Valsayn A Booster on Friday

Parts of St Joseph, San Juan and San­ta Cruz will see a dis­rup­tion in their wa­ter sup­ply on Fri­day, while a de­fec­tive pump is be­ing re­placed at the Val­sayn A Boost­er Sta­tion.

An ad­vi­so­ry from the Wa­ter and Sew­er­age Au­thor­i­ty ex­plains that the wa­ter sup­ply dis­rup­tion will be from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, to­mor­row (Fri­day 6th Sep­tem­ber 2024).

Af­fect­ed ar­eas in­clude along the EMR from St. Joseph to Aranguez Main Road, San Juan (in­clud­ing Champs Fleurs and Mt Lam­bert), and Up­per & Low­er San­ta Cruz.

Once the re­pair work is com­plete, WASA says it may take up to 12 hours for the sup­ply to nor­mal­ize to some af­fect­ed ar­eas.

Cus­tomers are ad­vised that a lim­it­ed truck borne ser­vice will be avail­able up­on re­quest. Re­quests can be made through the fol­low­ing self-ser­vice op­tions:

•  WASA Ser­vices App avail­able via the Play Store or Ap­ple store; or

•  Cus­tomer Por­tal avail­able on the Au­thor­i­ty’s web­site: www.wasa.gov.tt.

Al­ter­na­tive­ly, cus­tomers re­quir­ing di­rect as­sis­tance or fur­ther in­for­ma­tion can con­tact WASA’s Cus­tomer Call Cen­tre toll free at 800-4420 or 800-4426.
