The battered body of a watchman was found at his workplace in San Fernando Saturday.
A Water and Oil Well Services Ltd worker went to the compound along Marryat Street, Mon Repos, around 6.10 am and found the body of Sean Darsoo. Darsoo, 41, of Fairfield Village, Princes Town, worked as a watchman at the company. Police said he had several wounds on his body, and investigators believed someone beat him to death.
When San Fernando police responded, they found Darsoo’s hands and feet bound with plastic straps.
Undertakers took the father of two’s body to the mortuary at the San Fernando General Hospital until it can be transferred to the Forensic Science Centre for an autopsy.
