To­ba­go po­lice are in­ves­ti­gat­ing the drown­ing of 42-year-old Je­sha Mc Far­lain at her home in Mt Irvine. The in­ci­dent hap­pened on Mon­day morn­ing.

Re­ports say around 8.25 am Je­sha’s moth­er, found her daugh­ter ly­ing un­re­spon­sive at the bot­tom of their pool.

A neigh­bor rushed over and pulled Je­sha out of the wa­ter.

Emer­gency ser­vices were called, and Je­sha was tak­en to Scar­bor­ough Gen­er­al Hos­pi­tal, where she was pro­nounced dead.

The po­lice were no­ti­fied, and of­fi­cers from the Crim­i­nal In­ves­ti­ga­tion De­part­ment and the Crime Scene Unit vis­it­ed both the scene and the hos­pi­tal. They found no vis­i­ble signs of vi­o­lence on Je­sha’s body. In­ves­ti­ga­tions are on­go­ing.
