Two ban­dits robbed a woman of thou­sands of dol­lars worth of gold jew­ellery as she walked to her car in Wood­brook on Thurs­day night.

Po­lice said the woman was walk­ing to her Blue­bird Sy­lo­ht on Fitt Street at around 8.30 pm when two men ap­proached her. One grabbed her right hand and stole a gold beera val­ued at $25,000 and five gold bands worth $15,000. The sec­ond ban­dit held her in place.

Both men pushed the woman on­to the street be­fore get­ting in­to a sil­ver Nis­san Almera and dri­ving off.

Wood­brook po­lice were called and are con­tin­u­ing their en­quiries.
