A body be­lieved to be that of a miss­ing Laven­tille woman was  found down on a precipice on Tues­day morn­ing by the Hunters Search and Res­cue Team.

The woman’s bad­ly de­com­posed body was dis­cov­ered hid­den be­neath de­bris about 150 feet be­hind the house she shared with her boyfriend along the North Coast Road.

Po­lice say the woman, her boyfriend Ako Keon Matthew and a sec­ond man, be­lieved to be Robin San­cho, were re­port­ed miss­ing from Matthew’s North Coast Road home on Mon­day.

Matthew’s rel­a­tives told po­lice the trio had last been seen on April 20, 2022. When rel­a­tives went to the house to check on Matthew’s, his home was dis­cov­ered ran­sacked. The rel­a­tives told po­lice they smelt some­thing foul, prompt­ing them to look around the house, where they dis­cov­ered Matthew and San­cho’s bod­ies.
