A Woodland man was robbed of $2,500 in cash when he went to purchase two cattle that had been advertised for sale in an online group called Bulls and Cows of Trinidad and Tobago.
The 25-year-old of Jackson Trace, Woodland, told police he drove his white Nissan Frontier to Pangola Road, Point Fortin, around 9.30 am on Friday to meet with two men relating to the sale of the animals.
The victim claimed the sale had been finalised around 7.30 pm the day before via communications on Facebook and WhatsApp.
Upon arrival at the location, the victim met two men, following which one pulled out a gun.
