San Fernando mayor Marlene Coudray has discovered that her mayoral gold chain is not real gold. Coudray confirmed in an interview the chain she wore at her swearing-in was fake. “I don’t know what the original chain looked like but this one has zero carats,” she said.

An Army recruit has sued the State after suffering injuries during a fall during a training exercise. Camille Browne, 29, of 16 Third Street West, Rowland Gardens, Trincity, is claiming damages for the injuries she sustained in an early morning exercise at the Regiment’s Chaguaramas base.
