Leader of the Opposition Dr Keith Rowley says more than one national tribute should be bestowed in memory of this country’s first President, Sir Ellis Clarke. Sir Ellis died on December 30 after suffering a massive stroke on November 24.

Two men who were shot dead by police during a robbery at Tony’s Food Mart, St James, on Sunday, have been identified as 23-year-old Akeem O’Brien and Hudlyn Abdul Waldron, 23, of Port-of-Spain. Both men were shot during a robbery at the shop at Long Circular Road and Dundonald Hill, St James.
