Are you ready to jump-start your financial wealth in 2019? I thought so, that’s why I’ve created 10 awesome money tips that you can use to manifest more abundance into your daily life RIGHT NOW! But first, let’s talk LOA (Law of Attraction) & manifestation. If you think manifestation is a little too “out there” or “woo woo” for you, just hear me out.
When I speak with parents of school-aged children, the number one complaint I hear is their children’s lack of focus. Sitting still to complete their homework or remembering simple instructions, can often be challenging for naturally energetic children. This is also developmentally appropriate, as the prefrontal cortex, the part of the brain that helps with attention, learning and concentration, is not yet fully developed. While there are several techniques that can be used to help improve a child’s concentration skills, one often-overlooked area is their diet.
Again as a family caregiver I rarely every take breaks. I never stop going, doing, giving, providing, fixing, making and sacrificing- every day without stopping. Let me share a little secret- I am a proud woman. I don’t like to ask for help or show what I think are signs of weakness, but as they say you live and learn. Understand that asking for help is not a sign of weakness, but a sign of wisdom, understanding, appreciating, learning and inner strength.

A popular soup in Tobago—callaloo bush and fish—is cooked on an outdoor wood fire.
An early morning trip up to Belle Garden in the eastern side of Tobago, called engine town, began just at 6 am on December 28, 2018. But the preparation for the traditional annual all-day gathering at Randy Davis’s 'wooden' getaway spot, which stands singularly atop a hill of the family estate, and overlooking a scenery of lush green, began since Boxing Day. Fish in all its glory was going to be the day’s menu.
As each year winds down, the resolution rhetoric begins to populate our social spaces. Be it online or in face to face conversation, many of us reflect on the year that’s coming to a close, while we plan all the amazing things we want to do in the New Year. I’ve often found myself, year after year, caught up in the hype of creating this master list of things that I absolutely needed to accomplish for the following year.
It’s a new year and you’re starting it off with a bang after landing yourself a new job. Woohoo! While the thought of starting a new job is exciting, it can be quite stressful too. Whether it’s figuring out what to wear, remembering your new co-workers’ names, or trying to make a good first impression on your new boss, your first day at a new job can be so nerve wrecking.

Late at night, in an English nightclub, TrinDad & TooGayThough takes the stage. A neatly-folded Trinidadian flag sits at the top of the performer’s head like a crown and facial hair lies flat on his face; a pronounced unibrow and chinstrap. Dark strokes of hair peek out of a black vest (or what we Caribbean folks call a “wife-beater”). It’s tucked into baggy denim shorts with boxers hanging over the edges. Oh, and an ites-gold-and-green striped belt keeps it from falling to the floor, of course. Below, there are clean, newly-polished Clarks with no socks in sight. One thing is certain: The performer’s appearance and behaviours reflect those of a man, but there’s a woman underneath it all.

Eph : 4:22 You were taught not to live the way you used to. You must get rid of your old way of life. That's because it is polluted by longing for things that lead you down the wrong path. (NIRV).
Smile often, and live longer! Research has indicated that people who are mostly happy and smile a lot live up to ten years longer than most.
This year I encourage you to manage your expectations. Yes Expectations!! Expectations are beliefs that a certain outcome or event will happen. Expectations creates stress and anxiety and may not be good going into 2019. Do you remember a time when you felt disappointed, when you did something great for someone you worked so hard either to get them a great gift, or finished a project on time, or even cooking them their favourite meal? And after all that hard work you got blown over, feeling unappreciated ? You felt angry, how dare they do that to you, where was the appreciation? They didn't react as you anticipated, they failed to live up to your expectations, but that isn’t their fault. The expectations were yours.
For many people, losing weight is synonymous with dietary restrictions – cutting calories, portion control and even the complete elimination of certain foods or food groups. While in time your stomach and your body may adjust to less food, these types of “diets” are not generally sustainable in the long-term. If you are still hungry after you eat, you may end up binging on snacks or overeating at dinner. This may leave you with feelings of guilt and cause you to throw in the towel altogether. You don’t have to deprive yourself – you can lose weight and maintain your weight loss by eating satisfying nutritious meals!
Another year has passed and the many changes in our lives whether they be; personal, business, country or just life. Whether we want to embrace it or not, change seems to be the only constant in our lives- so why fear it?
