The Under-18 team of Cap Off Youths will be trying to duplicate the the outstanding run by both its Under-12 and Under-14 teams in the Central Football Association. The elder Under-18 boys will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of their winning youngsters tomorrow (Thurs) when they oppose Crown Trace in the league final of the youth tournament on the Woodford Lodge ground, Chaguanas, from 7.15 pm. An hour earlier, Eagles will oppose Las Lomas United in the Under-16 Division final.
Cap Off Youths earned its place in the Under-18 final by beating Eagles 2-0 with goals by Ditharie Newart (40th) and Dellon Lyons (68th). Newart received a through ball from Neon O'Garro and buried a low shot while Lyons netted with a header. Crown Trace qualified for the final without kicking a ball, as opponents Flamingo failed to field a full team. In the Under-16 Division , goals by Deon O'Garro and Horashio Charles earned Las Lomas a 2-0 win over Flamingo and Eagles dumped St Mary's 3-0.
