Among the coaches who will be involved in the boxing programme are former world-rated lightweight boxer Ulric Johnson, veteran boxer Waldron Brooks and physical coach Ricardo Marchan with Winston Gabriel as one of the substitutes. Apart from their involvement in sports, focus will be placed on the academic progress of the participants with sessions in remedial Mathematics and English; assistance in homework assignments; nutritional education; and life skills courses involving manners and etiquette; drug and alcohol abuse; sexual health; inter-personal communication; anger management; conflict resolution and financial literacy. The programme takes place Monday through Thursday between the hours of 3 and 6.30 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm.
