Soca Warriors and former University of South Florida defender Yohance Marshall was dumped by US Major League Soccer club, Los Angeles Galaxy earlier this week. This was confirmed after the Galaxy opened training camp Monday shy of two-Marshall and Zach Johnson. It was disclosed that Marshall who made his T&T senior team debut last November in the Digicel Caribbean Cup second round qualifying tournament contract option was declined by the club.
A former St Anthony's College stand-out Marshall, who played in three games for the Galaxy last season, was released in late December while the club announced the move Tuesday. He was widely viewed as the fifth choice centre back on the roster and spent most of the past two seasons on loan to the Austin Aztex of the second-tier USSF D2 Pro League.
