The University of T&T women and Technocrats men, will put their T&T Volleyball Federation Carib-sponsored A Division Championship titles on the line when semifinal matches take place at the Jean Pierre Complex from 1pm. Both teams while fancied to repeat as champions at the start of the season will go into their respective semifinal matches with some injury concerns to key players.
In the Women's Division, two-time defending champions, UTT already without three of its key players (Krystle Esdelle, Channon Thompson and Sinead Jack) due to overseas contract will come up against Southern United Volleyball Academy in the second semifinal from 4 pm while round-robin winners, Technocrats meet Glamorgan in the curtain raiser from 2pm. UTT will be hoping main spiker, Rheeza Grant recovers from a bout of flu for the contest while Glamorgan will look to former national indoor player. Following today's semifinal matches, the finals and third place playoff will take place next Saturday at Central Regional Indoor Sports Arena, Chaguanas.
