The Uni­ver­si­ty of T&T women and Tech­nocrats men, will put their T&T Vol­ley­ball Fed­er­a­tion Carib-spon­sored A Di­vi­sion Cham­pi­onship ti­tles on the line when semi­fi­nal match­es take place at the Jean Pierre Com­plex from 1pm. Both teams while fan­cied to re­peat as cham­pi­ons at the start of the sea­son will go in­to their re­spec­tive semi­fi­nal match­es with some in­jury con­cerns to key play­ers.

In the Women's Di­vi­sion, two-time de­fend­ing cham­pi­ons, UTT al­ready with­out three of its key play­ers (Krys­tle Es­delle, Chan­non Thomp­son and Sinead Jack) due to over­seas con­tract will come up against South­ern Unit­ed Vol­ley­ball Acad­e­my in the sec­ond semi­fi­nal from 4 pm while round-robin win­ners, Tech­nocrats meet Glam­or­gan in the cur­tain rais­er from 2pm. UTT will be hop­ing main spik­er, Rheeza Grant re­cov­ers from a bout of flu for the con­test while Glam­or­gan will look to for­mer na­tion­al in­door play­er. Fol­low­ing to­day's semi­fi­nal match­es, the fi­nals and third place play­off will take place next Sat­ur­day at Cen­tral Re­gion­al In­door Sports Are­na, Ch­agua­nas.
