The Southwest Zonal Cricket Council has pushed back the Jokhan T20 cricket tournament because of the inclement weather currently being experienced in the southwestern peninsula. The opening round of matches were scheduled for last Saturday but were totally rained out. However, at an emergency meeting held yesterday, the executive decided to begin the series this weekend instead.

The first game will be played at 10.30am and the second will get off at 2.30pm.The two venues selected are Standard cricket ground in Siparia and Techier cricket ground in Point Fortin.
