Lead­ers T&TEC will take on W Con­nec­tion Wan­der­ers in the ninth and fi­nal round of the T&T Crick­et Board Na­tion­al League at Gilbert Park this af­ter­noon.Along with sec­ond place Ce­ram­ic Mer­ry Boys, who will face Queen's Park in St Clair to­day, T&TEC have al­ready se­cured a place in to­mor­row's semi­fi­nals which will take place at the Cli­co Preysal Sports Club and the Na­tion­al Crick­et Cen­tre in Cou­va.

T&TEC will look to con­tin­ue from where they left off last week­end, when they trounced Cli­co Preysal by 50 runs in Point Lisas. Bat­ting first, they com­piled 206 for nine with Akeil Coop­er (42), Manoj Sir­ju (40), Richard Kel­ly (27) mak­ing con­tri­bu­tions. They then dis­missed Cli­co for 156 in 43 overs with Kevon Coop­er (4-20), An­cil Bhag­gan (2-25) and Kel­ly do­ing most of the dam­age.Mer­ry Boys were al­so in win­ners' row last week­end, beat­ing W Con­nec­tion Wan­der­ers by 147 runs. Ba­jan all­rounder Al­cin­do Hold­er scored 99 in Mer­ry Boys' 249 for sev­en, while An­tho­ny Sim­mons (3-22), Aneil Kan­hai (2-21) helped them suc­cess­ful­ly de­fend their to­tal, bowl­ing out Wan­der­ers for 102.
