Queen's Park Crick­et Club and T&TEC ad­vanced to the fi­nal of the T&T Crick­et Board's Na­tion­al League when they won their semi­fi­nal match­es against Ce­ram­ic Mer­ry Boys and Pow­er­gen re­spec­tive­ly yes­ter­day. At In­shan Ali Park in Preysal, the Parkites com­plet­ed an 82-run vic­to­ry over Mer­ry Boys with Ak­il Ho­sein strik­ing 56 and T&T off­spin­ner Amit Jag­ger­nauth tak­ing three for 35. Ho­sein top­scored in QPCC's 220 for nine in 38 overs af­ter they lost the toss and were sent in to bat. In re­ply, Jag­ger­nauth, medi­um pac­er Smith (2-12) and fast bowler Rashad Har­ris (2-35) helped re­duce Mer­ry Boys to 138 in 32.1 overs. At the Na­tion­al Crick­et Cen­tre in Cou­va, Kevon Coop­er scored 41 and took 2-39 while Ja­son Mo­hammed scored 66 as T&TEC beat Pow­er­gen by 22 runs. The fi­nal will be played at Guaracara Park on March 30.
