Sensi Anthony Parris is now the T&T Karate Federation's (TTKF) Liaison Officer to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs (MSYA). The veteran seventh dan, who is the First Vice President of TTKF, has produced over 1,000 black belts in T&T and the wider Caribbean and has taught over 10,000 students. His background in management (with BWIA and other major companies) and his vast experience in the sport make him the ideal candidate for this position. Sensi Parris and his brother Stephen had one of the largest traditional karate schools and keep-fit centres in the country with branches throughout the Caribbean.
He was the coach for the T&T netball team when they won the World Championships . Meanwhile TTKF launched its new Web site (www.ttkf.org) recently. TTKF is the largest multi-style karate organisation in the country with over 43 registered clubs. The new site is designed for members to get updates with the latest seminars, courses, and tournaments both at home and abroad. The TTKF calendar is usually set one year in advance and is on the site along with costs, location and time.
