T’ony Bliss ...promoted to rank of Shodan

Having met all requirements as set by the technical committee of the Trinidad and Tobago Karate Federation (TTKF-TC),  T’ony Bliss has been promoted to the rank of Shodan (1st Degree Black Belt). His grade will be homologated by the World Union of Karate-Do Organization (WUKO) and recorded in TTKF National Black Belt Registrar. This information will also be communicated to the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs (MSYA) as a form of compliance. All Black Belt ranks from TTKF are recognized by WUKO, MSYA and the international karate community.

Bliss is an internal martial arts practitioner who has been practicing karate for more than ten years starting with kyokushin and currently Shotokan. His present instructors are Sensei Anthony Parris and Sensei Rae Johnson. He  is a TTKF official (WUKO rules) who is currently pursuing his coaching principles certification under the American Sport Education Program (ASEP). He will be participating in WUKO International referee course in June in T&T.
