Ramjass as second seed, took the Under-16 title beating top-seeded Sandeep Maharajh, 21–12, 21–14. Ramjass exceeded expectations doubling with Reno-Singh to take the mixed doubles crown in the Under-16 category. The 15-year-old student of Presentation College then took the boys doubles Under-16 title with Sheraz Nabbie.
