In­ter­na­tion­al Shi­to-Ryu karate in­struc­tor, Dar­ryl Williams, 6th Dan (WUKO) will be con­duct­ing a work­shop for ad­vanced karatekas and in­struc­tors next Sun­day at Mal­oney In­door Sport Are­na, Mal­oney.The sem­i­nar be­gins at 5.30 pm. Ar­eas that will be cov­ered are prop­er bow­ing eti­quette, ten­shin hap­po (the eight de­fence di­rec­tions), Hokei Ku­mite, Yaku­soku Ku­mite (pre arranged spar­ring) and the five prin­ci­ples of Shi­to-Ryu karate. Sen­sei Williams will al­so be teach­ing one ad­vanced ka­ta and bunkai (ap­pli­ca­tion of tech­niques).This is an ex­cel­lent op­por­tu­ni­ty to learn from an ex­pert in this tra­di­tion­al style. In­struc­tors may be able to in­cor­po­rate Shi­to-Ryu tech­niques in­to their school to en­hance their cur­rent cur­ricu­lum. All can­di­dates will re­ceived cer­tifi­cates of com­ple­tion.
