National Academy of Business Arts and Computer (NABAC), the Under-20 Champion school of the BG T&T Schools Basketball Association (T&TSBA) North Zone, will be represented by three players in both the boys and girls on the All Star teams. The game, which will feature the league's best players, will take place on Thursday. There will also be a prize-giving ceremony for the winning teams in each of the zone's seven divisions. Both events will take place at the Jean Pierre Complex from 1 to 5 pm. The All Star teams were selected based on players performances through the recently concluded season. Some of the outstanding players in the north zone including Karlus Cruickshank, Maxime Pereira Jr, Juvani Andrews, Gabriel Garrett, Josiah Best among others were chosen for the match which will be played against officials, coaches and sponsors.
Anika Nottingham, Latisha Manswell, Cheryse Aguilleria, Shauna Sankar and Annastasia Babb were some of the standout players selected from the Under-15 and Open Girls divisions. Some of the divisional namesakes will be distributing prizes to winners of their respective zones. These include Albert "Spotty" Sprott (Under-15 Boys) to the International School of Port-of-Spain (ISPS), Monica Maule (Under-15 Girls) to Tranquility Secondary, Joelisa Cooper (Open Girls) to ISPS, Stephen "Lighter" Lewis (Under-17 Boys) to Success Laventille Secondary, Ian 'Poison' Gomes (Under-17) ISPS, Barry Stewart (Under-20 boys) to NABAC and Mervyn Jackson (Under-19 boys) to ISPS.
