Courts and the T&T Cricket Board (TTCB) have signed an agreement that will guarantee the continued development of cricket in the twin island Republic. The partnership between Courts and the Board will assist the organisation in fulfilling its primary role of re-enforcing the cricketing infrastructure in the country. Courts has once again added value to the Inter Zone Tournament with a $60,000 sponsorship.

Rovers routed for 18 by All Stars

Rovers Sports Club made just 18 runs-the lowest score this season in the North East Zonal Cricket Council-over the weekend against All Stars. Rovers turned up at Cunaripo Recreation ground with just seven players for the match and taking first strike, they could muster only an embarrassing 18 runs. All stars fashioned a good reply and made 255 for six declared. Batting a second time, Rovers did a little better getting to 66 all out - which paved the way for an innings and 171-run victory for All Stars. In another clash Subash Kistow starred for Young Defenders as they took first innings points against Youth Sports at Plum Mitan.
Kistow grabbed 4/19 to bowl out Youth Sports for just 156 in their first innings and then scored 95 to lead his team to 255/7 declared in reply. Facing a first innings deficit of 92 runs, Youth Sports then replied strongly, finishing on 248 as the game ended in a draw. Gerald Singh and Shane Barran both got half centuries. Kistow followed up his four-wicket haul with 2/27. At Coryal, Randy Ramlogan continued his spectacular form this season, clouting 176 to lead Cunaripo to 391 all out in reply to Unity's first innings effort of 231. He was ably supported by Wayne Jeremiah who scored 71. Unity ended the game at 251/4 to ensure the draw. Leading the way for them was Keizan Bhola with a hard hit unbeaten 100.

Mando slams 217 for Harvard
David Mando was in great form over the weekend slamming 217 runs for Harvard against Invincible in their North Zone Senior Division clash at the Queen's Park Savannah. Harvard, taking first strike, made 323 all out and Invincible in reply made only 33. With a lead of 290 runs on first innings, Harvard enforced the follow on and at the close of the play, Invincible was on 105/5. This match concludes Saturday. Leaders Police raced to 165 points with a comprehensive victory over Combined Schools at North Zone ground in the Savannah. Combined batting first made just 47 with Amir Khan taking 4/9. Police then replied with 257/7 declared with Ryan Cassie hitting 48 and Yohan Henry 42.
Batting a second time the school boys scored 60 as Khan was again the main strike bowler with 5/24. He ended the match with figures of 9/33, to lead Police to an innings and 150 runs. Police will keep their eyes firmly planted on the clash between Carenarge and Sweet Revenge this finishes tomorrow. Carenarge, batting first, scored 135 with Luke Lattif getting 5/35 and Rudolph Moore 4/20. David Dick then followed up his double century in the last match with 108 to take Sweet Revenge to 308/5 declared. Also among the runs was Robin Browne 77 and Sean DeSouza 56. Faced with an uphill task of saving the game, Carenarge was 40/4 at the end of the second day.
