The Munroe Road Crick­et Club, com­pris­ing of play­ers who pre­vi­ous­ly played at the Na­tion­al League lev­el, re­cent­ly won the Cen­tral Crick­et Coun­cil Sun­day T20 Com­pe­ti­tion. Hav­ing played un­beat­en dur­ing the 2011 sea­son, Munroe Road de­feat­ed Mil­ton Crick­et Club in the quar­ters and TCL in the semi­fi­nal. In the fi­nal, played at the Na­tion­al Crick­et Cen­tre, Bal­main, Munroe Road Crick­et Club de­feat­ed Bris­tol Rovers by six wick­ets to claim the top prize of $5,000 and the win­ner's Tro­phy.

Hav­ing won the toss, Bris­tol Rovers bat­ted and were bowled out for 85 runs in the last ball of the 20th over. A Alexan­der scored 19 and N Ram­lo­gan chipped in with 18. Bowl­ing for Munroe Road, Sieu "Panchee" Ra­moutar claimed four wick­ets for 15 runs. Er­ic "Pun­dit" Ram­saran got two for 12 and Chanka Ram­ta­hal al­so claimed two wick­ets for 19 runs.

In re­ply, Munroe Road made 86 runs for four wick­ets, with Ted­dy Ram­nar­ine get­ting 33 n.o. and Kei­th Gopie mak­ing 19 n.o. At the end of the game, Sieu Ra­moutar re­ceived the tro­phy for the most wick­ets while Ted­dy Ram­nar­ine re­ceived tro­phies for the most runs and al­so as Man of the Match.
