Yafeu Rougier scored a first-half double as W Connection blanked St Ann's Rangers 2–0 to maintain its 100 per cent winning record in the U-15 Division of the Oasis Youth Pro League on Sunday. Rougier got his goals as early as the second minute and the 45th minute for W Connection at the Mucurapo West Secondary Ground, Mucurapo Road, to improve to maximum 21 points from seven matches, three ahead of second placed duo Adam's Construction San Juan Jabloteh and Caledonia AIA.
Jabloteh got a goal each from Akeem Garcia and Aikim Andrews in a similar 2–0 shut-out of fourth placed T&TEC at San Juan North Secondary Ground, while Caledonia, unbeaten in its six matches, slammed Police 4–0 with a goal from four different players at St Joseph Convent Ground, Federation Park. However, in the day's opening match at Mucurapo, a 47th minute goal from Rangers' Raheam Borde denied W Connection a seventh straight win in the Under-13 age-group. Both clubs battled to a 1–1 draw.
Despite dropping its first points of the season, W Connection Under-13s stayed on top with 19 points, five clear of Rangers, while Caledonia and Jabloteh closed to within one point of second with comfortable triumphs. Haile Beckles netted a hat-trick and Ricardo Williams two for Caledonia in an 8–1 mauling of Police while Jabloteh whipped T&TEC 4–1. With Under-17 leaders Joe Public (18 points) on a bye, the chasing duo of Jabloteh (15 points) and Rangers (13 points) narrowed the gap at the top.
