Legspinner Hafeez Emamalie (4-6) and offspinner Christian Kissoon (3-8) bowled Fatima College to a convincing eight-wicket win over St Mary's College in the Secondary Schools Cricket League's (SSCL) Under-15 Knockout Final at St Mary's Ground, St Clair yesterday. The pair were in complete command over the CIC batsmen, who crumbled to 45 all out in 24 overs batting first. Jerry Araujo was the lone player to reach double figures with 12.
In reply, Dominic Henderson raced to an unbeaten 25 as Fatima knocked off the target in just nine overs for the loss of two. Fatima will be in action again when it's Under-17 team defends its title against St Anthony's College in the Knockout final in Mucurapo today. The players will be greeted by former National Under-19 cricketers Jason Galt and Nicholas Gomez, who attended St Anthony's and Fatima respectively.
