13 teams qualify for Inter-Constituency KO

Thirteen teams have already qualified for the TnT Crime Prevention Inter-Constituency five-a-side Football Tournament big 16 knockout stages. After four matches, Group A leaders St Joseph are among the five teams which have advanced after earning maximum points. Laventille East, Tobago West and La Brea and Chaguanas East are the other sides to remain perfect through the group stages. With one match lost, PoS South and Laventille West have still qualified with a nine point total.

In Group C, a six team group, POS North sit on 12 points after four matches similar to D’abadie/ Omeara and Princes Town. However, the POS team have advanced with a much higher goal differencial than the two other teams. Second placed constituencies, Diego Martin West, Toco/ Sangre Grande, Diego Martin Central, Barataria/ San Juan and Arouca/ Maloney sit on nine points and have advanced after fnishing in second. Group C, D and G are yet to determine second placed teams which will advance to the knock out round.
