The love of the game over­came the rainy weath­er on the week­end as 144 Un­der-15 crick­eters turned out for the Dig­i­cel Grass­roots Crick­et Two-Day camp held is­land-wide.Dig­i­cel con­tin­ued its long-stand­ing com­mit­ment to the de­vel­op­ment of crick­et with the camp, which was al­so used as re­search to in­form crick­et de­vel­op­ment. The camp al­so ben­e­fit­ted the na­tion­al U-15 team, giv­ing the mem­bers ad­di­tion­al coach­ing ses­sions and op­por­tu­ni­ties to play against their peers. Young crick­eters were put through a se­ries of drills and prac­tice match­es in ad­di­tion to ses­sions ad­dress­ing the lis­ten­ing and com­mu­ni­ca­tions skills of the play­ers.By the end of the week­end, these young ath­letes had tak­en yet an­oth­er step on the path to crick­et­ing ex­cel­lence.
