T&T and Guyana shared three points each af­ter per­sis­tent rain forced play to be called off with­out a ball be­ing bowled for the sec­ond suc­ces­sive day in their first round en­counter in the WICB Re­gion­al Un­der-15 Tour­na­ment at Avidesh Sama­roo Park, yes­ter­day. Bar­ba­dos and the Lee­ward Is­lands al­so spent the day con­fined to the pavil­ion at the Na­tion­al Crick­et Cen­tre in Cou­va.

The Lee­wards had reached 66 for three on Sat­ur­day with Shaquille Mar­ti­na left un­beat­en on 19. Mean­while at Hon­ey­moon Park, Ja­maica won first in­nings points over the Wind­wards, thanks to a handy all­round per­for­mance by cap­tain Ra­maal Lewis. Af­ter los­ing the first day to rain, the Lee­wards were bowled out for 65 yes­ter­day with Lewis tak­ing 5-18. In re­ply, Ja­maica reached 82 for nine with Ro­maine Mor­ris (22) top­scor­ing and Lewis mak­ing 14.
