T&T and Guyana shared three points each after persistent rain forced play to be called off without a ball being bowled for the second successive day in their first round encounter in the WICB Regional Under-15 Tournament at Avidesh Samaroo Park, yesterday. Barbados and the Leeward Islands also spent the day confined to the pavilion at the National Cricket Centre in Couva.
The Leewards had reached 66 for three on Saturday with Shaquille Martina left unbeaten on 19. Meanwhile at Honeymoon Park, Jamaica won first innings points over the Windwards, thanks to a handy allround performance by captain Ramaal Lewis. After losing the first day to rain, the Leewards were bowled out for 65 yesterday with Lewis taking 5-18. In reply, Jamaica reached 82 for nine with Romaine Morris (22) topscoring and Lewis making 14.
