Meanwhile, Shivnarine Chanderpaul climbed three places to seventh thanks to his match-saving 116 not out, which lasted 501 minutes. Darren Bravo (50 & 14) moved up one spot to 51st while Carlton Baugh (60 & 10) climbed 20 places to 98th. Adrian Barath (12 & 6) fell from 66th to 75th, Marlon Samuels (9 & 0) dropped four places to 66th and Kieran Powell (3 & 4) entered the chart on 187th.
Inactive players Chris Gayle (25th), Ramnaresh Sarwan (39th), Dwayne Bravo (52nd) and Brendan Nash (54th) are the team's other batsmen in the top 60. India's VVS Laxman (56 & 3 n.o.) stayed in sixth, Suresh Raina (50 & 8) was unmoved on 55th, Rahul Dravid (5 & 34 n.o.) fell two places to 22nd and captain MS Dhoni (74) remained in 38th. South African Jacques Kallis is ranked number one in the world, followed by Indian Sachin Tendulkar, Sri Lankan Kumar Sangakkara and England's Jonathan Trott and Alistair Cook respectively. West Indies fast bowler Fidel Edwards jumped two places to a career-best 16th after grabbing match figures of six for 122 (5-103 & 1-19). The 29-year-old finished the series with 19 wickets at 20.00 apiece.
Darren Sammy (2-51 & 0-26) went up one place to 29th, Ravi Rampaul (2-31) moved from 51st to 50th and Devendra Bishoo (2-125 & 0-17) fell four places to 51st. Chanderpaul also attained a personal best (93rd) after taking one for 38 in the first innings. Man-of-the-Series Ishant Sharma (5-77 & 1-76) dropped one spot to eighth, switching places with his teammate Harbhajan Singh (2-26 & 4-75) while Praveen Kumar (2-22 & 2-44) skipped 13 places to 42nd. The top five spots are occupied by South African Dale Steyn, Englishmen Graeme Swann and James Anderson, South African Morne Morkel and Australian Mitchell Johnson respectively.
