Lewis hits 41 in cricket trials

PowerGen batsman Evin Lewis struck 41 off 32 balls as Denesh Ramdin’s team inflicted a 22-run defeat on the Daren Ganga XI at the National Cricket Centre (NCC) in Balmain, Couva. Ramdin’s XI scored 132/4 with Kjorn Ottley (28 n.o) and Richard Kelly (20 not out), also among the runs.

In reply Ganga’s XI were bowled out in the 19th over for 110. William Perkins with 27 and Jason Mohammed, were the top batsmen. Leg-spinner Yannic Carriah took 2/39 off four overs and pacer Terry Edwards from Toco took 2/11.
