T&T's Adri­an De Sil­va and Luke De Caires ad­vanced to the sec­ond round of the Co­ca Co­la ITF St Lu­cia Ju­nior Ten­nis Tour­na­ment while six of their com­rades suf­fered ear­ly elim­i­na­tions in Cas­tries yes­ter­day.Boys Un­der 18 fourth seed De Sil­va beat the Nether­land An­tilles' Justin Tjon 6-4, 6-3 while the sev­enth ranked De Caires' Amer­i­can op­po­nent Ryan New­man had to re­tire af­ter be­ing up 6-3, 2-2. Jualon Greig failed to win a game against USA's Matthew Scaggiante Crav­in­hos and Ty Abra­ham lost 6-4, 6-0 to Grena­da's Yan­nik James. De Caires will face Amer­i­can Jared Don­ald­son in the sec­ond round while De Sil­va will take on Amer­i­can Farzin Dan­ny Amiri.In the Girls Un­der 18 Sin­gles, Taphenes Ko­ro­ma was beat­en 6-2, 6-0 by Amer­i­can Ha­ley Thore­sen, the US's Erin Faulkn­er de­feat­ed Kezia Ko­ro­ma 6-0, 6-0 and Japan's Myu­ka Aikawa trounced Aman­da Soo Ping Chow 6-0, 6-0.
