Kiel Mur­ray, Shel­don Mc Kel­lar and Syl Sin­nette scored two goals each as Paragon came from be­hind to clob­ber Coro­na Fa­ti­ma 9-3 for sec­ond spot in the T&T Hock­ey Board Men's Cham­pi­onship Di­vi­sion ti­tle. Mur­ray got his goals in the eighth and 59th min­utes, Mc Kel­lar net­ted in the 14th and 70th min­utes and Sin­nette found the tar­get in the 43rd and 48th min­utes at the Na­tion­al Hock­ey Cen­tre, Tacarigua on Sun­day night. Joel Bod­kin, Akim Tou­s­saint and Chester Sealy added one each for Paragon while Che Mod­este (sev­enth & 55th) and Dwight King (17th) were on tar­get for Fa­ti­ma.

With the win, Paragon end­ed its 14-match sched­ule with 31 points, three be­hind al­ready crowned cham­pi­ons Petrotrin. The Oil­men end­ed the sea­son on a los­ing note, go­ing un­der 4-6 to Queen's Park on Sat­ur­day. The Parkites got a hat-trick from Do­minic Young while Raphael Govia added two and Cade Lue Sue the oth­er. Jonathan Williams got a dou­ble for Petrotrin while Josh Wall and Dwain Quan Chan were al­so on tar­get.
